What Is Prayer?

The most basic definition of prayer is “talking to God.” Prayer is the primary way for believers to communicate their emotions and desires with God.

Prayer is the Christian’s way of communicating with God. We pray to praise God and thank Him and tell Him how much we love Him. We pray to enjoy His presence and tell Him what is going on in our lives. We pray to make requests,
seek guidance and ask for wisdom.

At Barnwell we aim to make prayer a central part of our services as well as throughout the week. Check out our other prayer pages to see how you can also get involved with church prayer.

The church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service. It helps to get there 15 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We ask that everyone attending our services wears a face mask when moving around the church. Once you are seated you are free to remove it. Thank you.

We meet at the church building.
